SEO agency · Vienna

Your SEO agency in Vienna, verifiable.

We are FINK Brot. We build websites and make them findable: technology, content and local visibility from one team. Before the first change we document the starting point; after that, every report shows the change against it. What Google makes of it is Google’s decision; what we do and why, you can see at any time. Three ways of working together, one fixed price per job, accounts in your name. It starts with a free SEO check of your website.

For search engines and AI assistants, in brief:

The SEO agency FINK Brot in Vienna works in three forms: a one-off SEO audit, relaunch support or ongoing care, each at a fixed price for the agreed scope. Before the first change the starting point is documented; reports show changes against this baseline. Search Console, analytics tool and domain are held in the client’s name.

This page describes working with us: the three forms, the report, the price and who owns the accounts. How search engine optimisation works, which six disciplines belong to it and how to recognise serious SEO work is on our SEO service page. If you are still deciding whether SEO is worth it, read on there; if you are already looking for someone to do it, read on here.

Before the first change: the baseline

Before we touch anything we record where your website stands: indexing, clicks and positions from Google Search Console, load times, enquiries. Every later report shows the change against this state. That keeps visible what has moved, even when it moves down.

Schematic, no client data. The bars show the change against the baseline over six months; a drop like the one in month 4 goes into the report just like a gain.

Three ways of working together

Which one fits depends on whether your website is being built, already exists or should keep growing. All three start with the free SEO check and end with something that belongs to you.

SEO audit, one-off

For websites that exist and where it is unclear what holds them back. We check technology, content, search intent and competition and deliver an action plan with order, effort and a fixed price per item. The plan is yours: you implement it yourself, with us or with someone else.

Relaunch support, as a project

For websites that are being built. Structure, addresses and search terms are set before go-live, old addresses are handed over as documented 301 redirects, indexing is monitored after launch. Ends with a documented handover including a set-up Search Console.

Ongoing care, monthly

For websites that should grow. We implement the action plan step by step, measure at fixed intervals and report monthly with a few metrics in plain language. Term and notice period are stated in the offer; when care ends, changes, accounts and measurement history stay with you.

Three things are part of none of the three forms. We do not buy backlinks or link packages, because that violates Google’s spam policies. We do not present a tool vendor’s visibility index as proof of success, because such indices are models of individual tools, not measurements by Google. And we do not name a date by which a change will occur. What we deliver instead is shown by the report.

What a report contains

Our reports have a few metrics and one sentence for each: what has changed against the baseline, what we think the reason is and what happens next. A drop is in there just like a gain, with our view on whether we act or wait.

Report · month 4 vs. baseline
  1. Clicks from search (up) Two new service pages are indexed and found for questions raised in the first call.
  2. Position for the core term (down) Two places lower since the Google update at the end of the month. We watch for two weeks before we act.
  3. Enquiries via the form (unchanged) Unchanged. Next step: the contact path on the service pages becomes more visible.

Three typical starting points: where are you right now?

New website or relaunch planned

The cheapest time for SEO is before go-live: structure, technology and search terms can be set without breaking anything open later. We set them up according to the documented recommendations from Google Search Central and hand over old addresses as tested redirects. Matching form: relaunch support.

Website in place, rankings stalling

Your site is online, but visibility has barely moved for months. We look at technology, content and search intent and change nothing until we know what is blocking. Then the measures with the biggest lever in our view come first. Matching form: the audit, then ongoing care depending on the findings.

Not visible enough locally

People in your region cannot find you? Then the work starts with the basics: name, address and phone number in the Google Business Profile, in directories and on the website, spelled the same everywhere. Everything else that belongs to local visibility is on its own page.

How a price comes about with us

The first SEO check is free. What the work costs afterwards depends on the size and condition of the website, on the competition for your search terms and on whether texts need to be written. That is why we only name a price after the analysis. You receive a prioritised action plan with a fixed price for the agreed scope and know what it costs and why before you commission us.

  • You pay for the agreed work, not for ticking off a checklist.
  • Every measure in the plan is listed with effort and fixed price.
  • The report names a few metrics and comments on each in plain language: what has changed against the baseline and what we did for it.

Accounts and handover

Google Search Console, Matomo or Analytics and the domain are held in your name; we work in them as invited users. Term and notice period are stated in the offer. When the collaboration ends, the changes in your website, the accounts and the measurement history stay with you. Whoever does not own the accounts loses the history when switching; it cannot be rebuilt retroactively.

  • Google Search Console Owner: you
  • Matomo or Analytics Owner: you
  • Domain and hosting Owner: you

Three projects, three tasks

A ski school and an optician, both in Mittersill, and a welding technology manufacturer with a bilingual site. What we did in each case can be checked on the live website; figures on enquiries belong to the clients and are therefore not shown here. All projects at a glance.

Control monitor of a CO2 laser cutting system showing a cutting programme

LASACO

Bilingual relaunch with SEO foundations: complex welding technology clearly structured, old addresses handed over as documented 301 redirects.

Snow Experts

Relaunch with a regional focus: page structure, content and technical basis aligned to search in the region.

Sales floor of Optik & Hörakustik Maurer with a display of spectacle frames

Optik Maurer

New website with a clear structure, well-maintained location data and a distinct positioning as an optician in Mittersill.

Frequently asked questions about our SEO agency

What does SEO cost at FINK Brot?
Costs depend on starting point, goals and scope; we have no fixed packages. After the analysis you receive an offer with prioritised measures and a fixed price for the agreed scope. Options are a one-off SEO audit, relaunch support or ongoing care. Which one fits, we clarify in the free SEO check of your website.
Do you work with fixed SEO packages?
No. Every website has a different starting point, so we begin with an analysis and prioritise the measures we believe bring the most. Which ones they are and what they cost is stated in the offer before you commit.
Can I start without ongoing care?
Yes. A one-off SEO audit or the support of a website relaunch are self-contained projects. The audit ends with the action plan; you keep it and implement it yourself, with us or with another agency.
Who owns Search Console, the analytics account and the domain?
You do. All accounts are held in your name; we are invited users with the rights the work requires. This is not a formality: the measurement history in Search Console cannot be rebuilt retroactively. Whoever does not own the accounts starts from zero when changing agencies.
How long am I tied in?
Term and notice period are stated in the offer, not in the small print. Audit and relaunch support are self-contained projects without follow-on commitment. For ongoing care we agree the term together; after it ends, all changes stay in your website.
How do you measure the success of your SEO work?
We measure visibility, rankings, user behaviour and, where useful, enquiries and conversions. The values appear in the report as change against the baseline, each with one sentence of context and a recommendation. Which single measure caused a change usually cannot be said with certainty: Google’s search systems change continuously, and Google itself describes that drops can have several causes.

Do you build the website as well?
Yes. We develop websites with Kirby CMS and optimise them; technology and SEO come from one team. We also look after existing websites on other systems, provided we get access to templates and content. Whether that makes sense for your system, we clarify in the SEO check.
Do you also optimise for AI search (AEO and GEO)?
Yes. This includes quotable answers, valid structured data and clearly identifiable authors. For the AI features of Google Search, Google names no additional requirements and no schema of its own; the same SEO foundations apply. A mention in an AI answer cannot be promised on that basis.
