Fink Brot began as a classic Viennese bakery. Today, the name stands for smart brand strategy and digital solutions that actually make sense.
The story starts in Vienna’s 13th district: a family-run bakery with a clear set of values. Fresh bread, honest craftsmanship, and real customer connection – that was the base.
But times changed. Markets shifted. Machines aged.
Eventually, the machines were older than the people buying the bread.
In 2012, we stopped repairing – and started reinventing.
From Counter to Brand Presence.
In 2011, an unexpected topic opened up entirely new perspectives: the e-cigarette.
What began as personal curiosity turned into a full-fledged business model – and in 2012, Dampferhütte was born. Overnight, the former bakery became a specialty store for e-cigarettes.
The location stayed the same. The idea was new.
Over the next few years, more stores opened in Graz, Linz, St. Pölten and Salzburg. At the same time, the online shop grew steadily – despite strict advertising bans, powered purely by search engine optimization and a consistent brand strategy.
In 2018, the planned handover within the family took place.
The original franchise partner gradually took over all shares. The transition was carried out over the course of a year – with care, responsibility, and a focus on long-term stability.
By then, the bakery’s debts had been fully repaid.
The path was clear for new priorities: strategic marketing, digital visibility, and brand development – all data-driven, focused, and grounded.
Digital. Substantial. Visible.
Today, Fink Brot is more than just a name - it's a principle: brand development with integrity, web solutions with character, and SEO with substance.
