Google Questions & Answers (Q&A)
Questions & Answers is a public section of the Google Business Profile where questions about a business can be asked and answered, visible to everyone who views the listing. Google states explicitly that the feature is available only for selected business categories and regions, so it is not offered on every profile. The associated My Business Q&A API was discontinued on 3 November 2025, so questions and answers can no longer be read or posted programmatically.
In practice
First check whether the section appears on your own profile at all – depending on category and region it may not be enabled. Where it is available, owners and profile managers should pre-empt common questions and answer them themselves, so that no incorrect or unchallenged answers are left standing. A short, regular check prevents outdated or misleading information. Because the Q&A interface has been switched off, this upkeep now works only manually in Google Search and Maps, not through automation or third-party tools.
