Content Calendar (Editorial Plan)

A content calendar is a dated plan recording which content will be published when, on which channel and by whom, turning a content strategy into concrete, traceable production steps.

In practice

Even a simple table with publication date, topic, format, responsible person and status prevents the most common problem: irregular publishing that happens in bursts. A content calendar also makes it visible when certain topics or formats are being neglected, and it makes coordination between several authors much easier.
