Google Discover
Google Discover is a personalised content feed in the Google app and in mobile Google Search that suggests content to people based on their interests and their previous web and app activity, with no active search query at all. A page becomes eligible automatically once it is indexed and meets the Discover policies; no special markup is needed.
In practice
Visibility in Discover comes down mainly to high-quality content, either evergreen or currently relevant, to striking images at sufficient resolution, and to a clean user experience without sensationalist or misleading headlines. Because Discover traffic fluctuates heavily and cannot be steered as directly as classic SEO, it is best treated as an additional channel rather than a dependable main source. Formats that fare poorly there, according to Google, include job listings, bare forms and content with no editorial value.
