Privacy Policy

A privacy policy is a text required under the GDPR that tells website visitors in plain language which personal data is processed, for what purpose, on what legal basis and for how long.

In practice

Unlike the legal notice (Impressum), which carries details about the provider, the privacy policy explains each individual processing operation in concrete terms – contact forms, cookies, embedded third-party services or server logs – and has to be kept up to date whenever new services are added.
