AI Bias

AI bias is a systematic distortion in the answers of an AI system that arises from one-sided, incomplete or skewed training data and unintentionally favours or disadvantages particular perspectives, groups or content.

In practice

Bias can never be removed completely, but it can be reduced considerably through deliberate prompt design, critical scrutiny of AI output and cross-checking against independent sources. For companies that publish AI-written text, a human check for balance and accuracy is part of using it responsibly.
