Title Tag

The title tag is an HTML element that defines the title of a web page and appears as the clickable headline in search engine results (SERPs), such as Google. It is a critical ranking factor and directly influences both the click-through rate (CTR) and how search engines assess the relevance of a page.

An effectively written title tag is concise, clear, and includes the primary keyword as early as possible. The recommended length is approximately 50–60 characters to ensure full visibility in the search results.

Example:

<title>SEO Agency Vienna – Visibility with Strategy | FINK Brot</title>

A well-optimized title tag:

  • captures user interest,
  • aligns precisely with search intent,
  • avoids keyword stuffing,
  • optionally includes branding (e.g., your agency name).

Note: Google may rewrite the title tag if it is too generic, too long, or poorly crafted. Therefore, each page should have a unique and clearly focused title.
